Want to learn documentary style photography?
Do you love the idea of creating storytelling images of your life, but feel like you're never sure how to compose/light/ set-up photos at home so they look more powerful than an everyday snapshot?
Heidi Talic is a professional lifestyle photographer who will share with us not only how to find the beauty in our family stories, but how to shoot them at home and on daily adventures in engaging and powerful images.
Heidi will share her process for finding light, composing with impact and bringing life to photos, and set a month's worth of challenges to help you craft your own beautiful imagery.
If you've ever wanted to step away from the standard 'smiles and cheese' to create powerful documentary style images, this is the perfect workshop for you...
So many of us are spending more time at home, now is the ideal time to document and preserve these memories for years to come.
You’d love to capture your families memories and stories in gorgeous images
You want to learn documentary style photography techniques for yourself and to shoot client sessions
You love shooting at home but you're not sure how to turn 'every day snaps' into beautiful engaging photos
You want to learn how to use light inside your home,
You're ready for a creative challenge to help you pick up your camera and take part in a fun and inspiring month of shooting.
Join us for a 4 week, online workshop, to explore taking simply styled portraits, and lifestyle photography for newborn, baby and toddler photos at home.
A new lesson will be released weekly, with examples, explanations and visual guides... and most importantly hands-on challenges to get out and shoot.
Best of all you'll be part of an online group working through the lessons together, with instructor support from Heidi and Louise... to share your images, ask questions, and be inspired by your Click Love Grow community.
I don't have a 'display home' that's neat and tidy all day long... can I still take this workshop? So my hand is up with you there... most of us with kids live in a state of 'everyday living' as I like to call it... and this workshop will help you find those pockets of light and perspectives to shoot from to create strong and engaging compositions that are all about your family's lives and home in a beautiful way. Heidi will show you how to move from everyday snapshot to documentary style memories.
Do I need any props or special equipment for this workshop? All you need for this workshop is your camera, whatever type you have. No props, studio lighting or fancy gear required.. this workshop is about changing the way we see our everyday and turning them into beautiful photos.
I can't join in the whole 4 weeks, does that matter? You’ll have lifetime access to the course material. and live video that you can go back and refer to at any time.
Will this teach me camera settings and how to shoot in manual mode? This workshop is focused on expanding creative skills, and while we will talk about some settings used, it won't cover the step-by-step on how the settings work together or how to shoot confidently in manual. If you're not there yet, check out our Enthusiast Photography Course.
On sale for a limited time only - we'll begin with Lesson #1 on the 9th of Aug
