I'm a mum of 3 and when I first bought my DSLR...
I was so excited about the amazing images I was going to take.

Do I need a DSLR to complete this course?
A DSLR is certainly handy for this photography course, but any camera that lets you adjust the aperture and shutter speed settings will be great. It’s worth pointing out – this course is NOT about getting you to buy fancy equipment or fifteen different lenses. We teach you to work with what you’ve got, and make the most of your camera’s features. (And as a quick heads up: if you’re trying to decide which camera to purchase, we discuss what you should be looking for in week 1. This is a really handy primer to take with you to the camera store, and you can then continue on with the rest of the course work.)
My life is a little frantic sometimes, what if I fall behind on the weekly assignments?
Don’t worry – there’s no such thing as falling behind!
Once you’ve got access to the course material, you can continue to jump back in as often as you need to go over the lessons or refresh your skills. The weekly assignments are critiqued every week, but it doesn’t matter which lesson you’re up to.
I’m a real beginner – I can barely turn my camera on. Is this course right for me?
Absolutely! The aim of this course is to walk you through the entire process of understanding your camera and taking great photos, right from the basics. Hi! I’m Louise Glendon - the face (and lens!) behind Click Love Grow.
Eight years ago, I was a complete newbie at photography. When my eldest was born, I was so excited to capture all those amazing newborn moments. I bought myself a fancy camera and started snapping away – but I quickly found that it wasn’t quite that easy!
Fast-forward a few years of intense study and experience, and I eventually became a professional photographer, and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph all sorts of subjects, in gorgeous locations. But even more than being behind the lens, I love empowering women to take their own beautiful photos, so they can capture their special memories for themselves.
I’ve now guided thousands of graduates through my signature photography courses, and am continually blown away by their incredible images and the way their confidence behind the camera soars.
