CLG Tip: Low Light Portraits
When you’re light challenged, as our grads Becca and Lisa have been during winter at home in the UK… you only need small pockets of light which you’ll find near windows and doors. Embrace the shadows, boost your ISO and use a wide aperture to capture as much of that ambient light as you can!

If you take all your photos from the same standing position, same perspective, all your photos will look the same. Think about exactly what it is you’re trying to capture in relation to the scene or your subject, then move around your subject and try lots of different angles and frames… shake things up!
CLG Tip: Golden Hour Photos

It takes a few tips to know how to best use it though, and this guide covers how to position your subject in relation to the light, settings and focus.
