Is this workshop for you?
But I know you have some questions...
Is this workshop focused on small children only? This workshop will help you develop skills to capture beautiful portraits of children (of any age - and adults too ;)) shooting outdoors, indoors, in limited and midday light!
Do I need any special equipment? In short no. Whatever camera you have in hand is ideal. You'll be learning how to Compose, Style, Bring Colour & MAGIC into your photos!
Will this teach me camera settings and how to shoot in manual mode? This workshop is focused on expanding creative editing skills, and while we will talk about some settings used, it won't cover the step-by-step on how the settings work together or how to shoot confidently in manual. If you're not there yet, check out our Enthusiast Photography Course.
Will I receive 1:1 feedback on my photos? Unlike our Enthusiast and Advanced Photography Courses, there is no set format for weekly feedback or 1:1 critiquing on your images. However Dana will be active in the group to comment on images, to support you, provide guidance and answer questions along the way.

Dana Whitley is a CLG Grad and Photographer, she's a mom to two boys and lives in Missouri USA.
Dana describes herself as a passionate hobbyist living in the midwest and doing her best to document her family's daily lives.
She says "You will never, ever see me without a steaming cup of coffee in my hand! I am a proud Hufflepuff, sweatpants enthusiast, introverted empath, adventure lover, and child of God."
Dana completed our Enthusiast and then Advanced Photography Courses in 2017 and has become an admired member of our community, inspiring others with her beautiful and vivid colours and play with light, and she's been a much requested Creative Workshop Mentor!
