We designed our Exploring the Creative Workshop specifically as a tonic for the crazy that is the holiday season, and it just wrapped up last week! But I have to be honest… when I first floated the idea we did umm and ahh a bit… were we mad to run a workshop in December?

We decided yes we were mad indeed… but we still wanted to do it, and so we did!

And I’m sooo happy to share it was a raging success! I was blown away by the level of participation, the unrestrained enthusiasm for every single module, and the incredible images that came out of it. The latter of which were thanks in no small way to next level creative shooting techniques shared by our talented workshop instructors Almitra Hill and Mandy Jane Dalby.

Our students experimented with free lensing, chandelier rings, prisms, copper pipes and more to create dreamy, whimsical and abstract photos. They delved into the topics of self doubt and fear, and learned tangible strategies designed to spark their imagination!
