Alison Britten completed our Enthusiast Photography Course in August 2014 and went on to complete our Advanced Course in November!
I’m so thrilled that she has agreed to be featured on the blog to share her experience and images with us.
Biggest a-ha moment
My biggest Ah-Ha in learning photography was finally understanding the exposure triangle!
I had previously taken several smaller courses and did a lot of online reading about photography and how to use my camera, but never quite got it… until learning about exposure and light.
I have learnt so much about using my camera in manual and have never gone back to auto.
Biggest improvement
I have so much more confidence since starting Click Love Grow’s photography courses.
I now see everything completely differently!
I’m constantly looking for shapes, tones, textures, light and interesting places to shoot.
I am able to capture lovely images of my children and other people now, which is wonderful!
Most enjoyable part of the course
I loved the easy way the online lessons are delivered and the way it’s written to make you completely understand the content.
It’s an extremely user-friendly course.
The Facebook support group is great too, as it provides a lot of support and enables you to ask any question about specific topics on photography.
Biggest photography goal
My photography goal was to use my camera out of auto function and to learn more about photography.
I have been able to do this since taking these courses!
Inspiration
My inspiration comes from my two beautiful children and other very talented professional photographers.
My children remind me of the importance of details in life and the professional photographers are how I aspire to be with my photography.
They are truly inspirational and they all started at the same place as anyone else.
