When our students graduate from our Advanced course, they move into an exclusive Advanced Grads group. In here they get to explore some higher level techniques and concepts, learn from Advanced grads who have years of experience, and take part in fun and complex challenges design to stretch their skills and creativity!

We’ve been running a new regular challenge in there… a colour inspired photo project, with a different colour every month. As simple as it sounds, this sees grads really having to think outside the box to produce an image that not only meets the colour brief… but is also a compelling and beautifully eye catching photo! The kind that makes you comment “WOWSERS!!”.

This month’s album was absolutely stunning, and puts paid to the notion brown is boring! Please enjoy this gorgeous collection of our faves, and we hope it inspires you to get out and try your own colour themed project!

So… inspired to try your own colour themed photo challenge? Something we really love about it, is that you can take a series of images with a view to creating a framed storyboard.

And the thing is, even if your subjects are unrelated, they’re linked by the common colour and it looks amazing when you bring them together!
