And you might be wondering, which of these two courses is right for you? Infact this is a question I get asked all the time, and it makes total sense to want to pick the best option to help you progress your skills and which will suit where you’re at right now!

So in this post I want to let you know exactly how to work out which course is right for you and compare the two programs on what we cover and the skills that you’ll learn.

‘Should I take the Enthusiast or Advanced Photography Course with Click Love Grow?’

So the simply version of the answer is this:

If you are brand new to photography, and you have never shot in manual mode before, then the Enthusiast Course is perfect for you!

BUT if you are mostly comfortable in manual mode, you can achieve a well balanced exposure, you’re set on the foundations of good light and composition, and you’re ready to really elevate your work to the next level, then the Advanced Course is perfect for you!

And what you’re a little in the middle?

Have a read of these explanations and see which would suit you best… remembering that we are very flexible! If you start one course and realise that the other would have been a better fit, we’re able to swap you and defer any places if necessary to help you best meet your goals!

The Enthusiast Photography Course

This is the perfect course for you if you’re ready to learn the foundations of photography AND want to learn how to shoot confidently in manual mode!

This is the course for you if you’re:

• Shooting in auto mode and missing all the moments you want to capture due to hit and miss photos
• Have switched over to manual mode but you’re just randomly adjusting the settings with no idea how they affect your photos
• Are already shooting in manual mode but not entirely confident
• Understand the exposure triangle… in theory. But have no idea how to apply the concept when actually shooting
• Want to learn about light and how to use it for beautiful photos
• Want to learn about composition so you can transform your photos from snapshots to stunning

What You’ll Learn on the Enthusiast Course

This is where we lay the foundations of photography and we very specifically teach how to shoot in Manual Mode! It’s all about:

Knowing How to Create a Great Exposure

We will walk you through exactly what all the settings do, how they impact your exposure AND how they allow you to get creative with your photos!

Building Confidence in The Moment

You’ll learn about light and composition and the big role they play in creating consistent images and how to use them all the time

Take Beautiful Portraits (of your kids, grandkids, furkids)

Portraits are a skill that can be learned, and we will show you the exact stes and techniques you need to shoot candid, natural and beautiful portraits!

And so much more… we also cover landscapes, storytelling, editing… all the fun stuff!

The Enthusiast Course is fully online, with lessons in both written and video format, delivered weekly over 8 weeks. Each lesson comes with a fun hands on challenge so you can practice the skills learned, then get detailed feedback from instructors so you know what you’re getting right, and what you need to improve (and how to do it!).
