We had a chat with Angela Eldering, a graduate of our advanced course who was craving some mad editing skills!

“After completing the Click Love Grow Enthusiast’s Course mid­ 2015, I wanted to push myself and take my photography to the next level. I knew that editing a good photo could make it even better and wanted to learn how to do this.

But at the same time, I was full of self­ doubt and worry that I wasn’t good enough to take on the Advanced Course. After all, I’d only bought my DSLR mid­way through the Enthusiasts’ course and was still getting to grips with the camera. And there were others who took way better photos than I did! If I looked for excuses not to do the course there were plenty to be found.

What swayed me was an overriding desire to focus on improving my skills as a photographer, and the fact that I knew the CLG Advanced Course would offer me a well­ paced option in an extremely friendly and supportive environment under the awesome tutelage of Louise Glendon. A place where I would be safe among friends to put my work out there for constructive critique.

I’m so glad I took this step and kept the momentum going. My photographic skills have increased tenfold. There’s nothing quite like being pushed outside your comfort zone to make you discover you can do it! Being a part of the Click Love Grow Advanced Grads community means that the learning, support and challenges continue well past the course finish date.

I’m still deciding what direction to take my photography, but thanks to having completed the Advanced course, I’m confident that I have the necessary skills to go wherever my journey leads me next”.
