Our gorgeous Childhood Portraits Creative Workshop is wrapping up as I type, and everyone has had loads of fun learning from our talented mentor, Dana Whitley. When I went searching for images to feature for this week’s Highlights Reel of Grad photos, it was clear from the wall that everyone really threw themselves into the lessons and challenges… so.much.goodness!!
In fact it was really hard to narrow it down and tbh I had a lot more images to begin with, but too many for one blog post so I was forced to work harder and pare the collection down even further to what we consider the best of the best of some seriously sublime work!
Check them out… we think this is a fantastic example of the lessons which, in addition to traditional portraits, also included panning, shooting in full sun, dark and moody exposures, golden hour light, and lots and lots of editing behind-the-scenes!
If this beautiful collection inspires you to round up the kids and take your own child portraits, we have a few tutorials you’ll love!
